I started writing poetry at a young age and I published. But it was not publishing poetry that drove me, I was searching. Searching among all the words to understand and to describe the physical, mental, and emotional pain that I was in; however, it was never enough. I would scribble and scribble filling pages of phrases and politely placed words. Looking back, I know that I could never describe that pain, but when I read my bible, I feel the ache the characters would feel. There was something different about them. I noticed that God was there and I could feel myself wanting what they had with God. It is unbelievably amazing what God has done in my life and I hope that you can share that with me.
